In the Manitoba workplace, diversity is valued. Many businesses have a diverse workforce with varying skill sets, personalities, and perspectives. This is especially true in Manitoba. Manitoba's diversity contributes to the innovation and success of many businesses.
"Be a true team player, take initiative, demonstrate respect." Sound familiar? Those are just some of the expectations for most employers around the world. But do those words mean the same things or reflect the same behaviours and actions everywhere? As an international student, you may encounter cultural differences that are different from your country. Knowing these differences is important to the success of many newcomers in the Canadian workforce.
Join this workshop hosted by Manitoba Start.
NOTE: This workshop will be held through video conferencing. All registered students will be contacted via email with video conferencing instructions prior to the event.
