Mar 23, 2021 11:00 AM to 01:30 PM

Registration Deadline: Mar 22, 2021 11:00 AM

Career planning for first and second year undergraduate students interested in Arts

Are you a Sociology/ Criminology student (or thinking about becoming one) and unsure about what you what to do when you graduate? If so, this small workshop is a great opportunity to explore who you are: your interests, values, and favourite subjects. The goal of this session is to create a list of occupational ideas just for you. We will also look at what to do next to learn more about yourself, occupations, and to make choices about your academic program.

A sociology/ criminology major builds strong employability skills and can take you to a huge variety of occupational options. Sometimes all of these options make it confusing to make choices about your career! This is where Career Services and the Faculty of Arts come in − in this workshop, we will discuss the career and academic planning process and help you plan what comes next.

NOTE: This workshop will be held through video conferencing.  All registered students will be emailed Zoom access information prior to the event start time.
This workshop will not be recorded.
